Abortion remains legal under federal law, and people in the U.S. have the right to get an abortion where medical professionals still provide them. The Trump Administration is moving quickly to reduce information for Americans –  within days of inauguration, the Trump White House shut down an official site with information on people’s reproductive rights (ReproductiveRights.gov). Among the resources taken down: advice on access to medication abortion, traveling across state lines, and more. This is happening as several states continue to pass increasingly strict criminalization of abortion (including banning women from crossing state lines) as a result of Trump’s support of overturning Roe v. Wade, the 50 year old constitutional right to abortion.
