ABOUT

Since taking back power on January 20th, Donald Trump has worked to systematically start dismantling the government that serves We the People. And his unelected henchman, Elon Musk has been firing workers and canceling programs  — most of which has been done illegally. We have some questions based on what the President is saying…

  • If they were interested in going after waste, fraud and abuse, then why did they fire 17 Inspectors General at the end of his first week in office? And why not work with the Government Accountability Office which is the “congressional watchdog” and which found $67.5 billion for taxpayers last year without laying off air traffic controllers, park rangers, cancer researchers,or veterans’ hotline operators?
  • Why are they halting payments to farmers, veterans, Head Start center operations, national parks, Medicaid, cancer research, and innumerable other things that Congress – which holds the power of the purse — has funded?
  • Why is Elon Musk, who happens to have been President Trump’s biggest donor in the campaign ($288 million), and has a title (“Special government employee”) that allows him to evade government ethics laws doing whatever he wants with no transparency or accountability?
  • Why does Elon Musk’s team need access to Treasury, IRS, Social Security and other highly sensitive taxpayer data on every American? And more importantly, why is President Trump just allowing it to happen?
  • When President Trump says this…(screenshot of fascist tweet), it is the OPPOSITE OF THIS: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Trump is not all powerful. We the people get to have a say through our elected representatives.
